The Storm that Swept Mexico

On the final night of the Mexico conference (5-6 July), all are welcome to attend the world premiere of a film about the Mexican revolution: The Storm that Swept Mexico. This two-hour high definition documentary tells the story of the Mexican Revolution of 1910, its causes and its legacy, using contemporary footage and interviews with participants, historians, and others, as well as with period photographs and motion picture from the earliest days of cinema. 

The film will be introduced by its producer Kenn Rabin, and a trailer is available for viewing online.

 

Location

Manning Clark Centre is opposite Union Court in the centre of the ANU campus, and can be reached by foot from various parking facilities and the city centre.
